Flexible Multicast Networks Address Translation with Cisco IP Fabric for Media

Watch Webex On-Demand

With the move to IP, production facilities now have the need to ingest 2110 flows that could have overlapping IP, or distribute 2110 to 3rd parties with the need to translate addresses for security for compliance reasons.

Traditional equipment that has enabled multicast NAT now face limitations with respect to the number of translations they support or the bandwidth of flows they support. The investments broadcasters have made in IP now enable them to use the Nexus 9000 switch for such use case across contribution, distribution and even production network destination control.

Learn how…

  • Multicast Address Translation works with Nexus 900
  • To leverage NAT in Contribution and Distribution Network
  • NAT can be used in destination control
